WOW! black magic liquid wax

ive been using meguirs gold class wax for about 3 years and just recently tried black magic liquid wax....WOW! I just gave away my meguires to my father, it doesn't even compare. The gloss you get from the black magic is unbelievable. Time will tell if the black magic holds up just as long. I'm impressed so far.

Consumer Reports rates it #1 among the waxes they've tested:

If you look at the above link you would see that it offers good protection and is very durable.

Im kinda confused. I thought the best wax was a paste wax. But this is liquid?

I'm a noob to waxes...
In that Consumer report link, how come it says that the liquid wax cleans? Are they supposed to clean the car?

Many modern waxes are formulated with micro-abrasives to help clean some stubborn spots you wouldn't normally be able to take off with regular car shampoo and a wash mitt. The article explains a bit about why liquid waxes have become more the norm than paste waxes. Read it some more.

you ALWAYS wash the car before you wax it. you should also clay bar it.

and my dog ate my applicator for my buffer, so i applied this by hand with a 100% cotton applicator.

you like that sign? got it from work, hahahaha
