DIY for AEM CAI???

I need a DIY for a AEM CAI. Is there a thread already posted with this?

nevermind...I got it installed, and WOW. It makes quite a differance from stock. The sound is really ammazing. I didn't have any real problems except for fitting the 90 degree elbow onto the T/B and the CAI tube. It almost seemed like it was too short, but after a while of fiddling, it lined up. The directions where fairly easy to follow...I just wish the pictures would have been a little better to see. Anyway...later all

I think the CEL is only a problem with the non-SI's.

on my friends si that was the biggest PITA

we eventually got it though.. didnt even have to take off the bumper

only took about 3 hours

well my cel went on then after a while i stoped using the car for a bit ( not even turninig it 0n) so i tried one day to turn it on and battery needed boost so i did and cel was gone ! but then again after using it for the day the cel code came back

get a new battery and check the piping on your CAI and make sure nothing is loose...the CEL should go away

battery is fine and im sure theirs no leaks on the intake so i guess theirs noting i can do about it thanks for your input tho
