Wow, funny thing is I ordered the 3200 with color screen before I even saw this. I'm glad to see someone else has it as well! Is there any harnesses or other accessories needed to go with this?

I just got the 3200 model for Christmas and installed it a couple of days ago. I liked the location that you chose and decided to do the same. Here are some pictures of the end result.
I put both of the controls/brains of the unit in the console. blue one is what came with the parrot and the one on the left is part of the harness kit that comes from www.parrotkits.com. ![]() A closer picture of the harness controller, shown are the left and right channel volume controls that you can adjust so you aren't deafened. ![]() This is what it looks like when the car is off when I was finished installing. I put the mic just to the right of the head unit. I've made a few phone calls and people said I sounded good, one call was I-5 in downtown Seattle which is a very rough riding surface and the person said there was a little road noise but it wasn't distracting from me talking. ![]() Final picture is the car on, the device automatically picks up my phone when I start up the car. If you notice my climate controls weren't working because I had forgot to reconnect that connector, luckily it only took 10 minutes to pop off a couple panels and reconnect it. ![]() This project is something that my dad and I did and took about 3 hours but could of been done in about 1.5 to 2 hours if we knew exactly what we were gonna be doing from the get go. Especially with the harness it was very easy to do, I was pleasantly surprised. |

Just got my 3100 in. Civic Sedan/Navi...
I guess it will be easier next time ![]() My big glitch was somehow getting the mike wire into the sun visor clip hole, which ended up breaking the wire... talk about bad luck, spent a few hours trying to figure that out...finally works. I was amazed it downloaded all of my contact from my Blackjack. I mean all 400 some of them! I put the head unit in the foglight hole. Mike is above, in front of the sunroof control. Very tidy.... |

If u could repost the pics for the 3100 it would be great. They don't show. have been wanting to get the kit the only issue is I have my sirius sportster 4 in front of the shifter below where the 3200 the second pic was. good to hear the kits are worth it though.
