This is really fantastic. Are your LEDs connected to the ignition?
Can I connect it simultaneous to the headlight or the dashboard light?
Thanks.

Care to elaborate on how you used the dremel to mod the LED? From what I am gathering you are saying you took a sanding drum to the curved end of the LED and sanded it flat... is that corrrect?

The LEDs are connected to the window switches so that they turn on when the car is on and stay on until the door is opened, that way you always have a light from the door handle while you're in the car (and maybe in the dark).

I'm sure you can connect it to any power source you'd like, but I'm not sure how much more difficult it would be...you'd have to wire it outside the doors, which is not something i felt like doing, honestly.

That is correct. You kinda have to go around it a bit (turn the LED so you sand from all angles) to make sure its flat (and that it doens't have a rounded out center).

Say that looks cool! I'd like to try this some time, where did you get the LED from? and are they 1Watt or no.

Are any of the controls illluminated on the passenger side door? Because if so, couldn't you have these LED's come on with the illuminated door controls, so that they only come on with your headlights?

For me, it would almost be worth sacrificing the passenger side light to have them come on with the headlights.

Nice work! I want to LED my doors somewhat too, but taking the panel off seems like a royal pain.

Picked them up at autozone. They're already pre-wired and all. Unfortunately, I don't know the wattage.

As for the passenger illumination, you can tap it into your door lock button maybe...

Just to be aware....tap it into your door lock button will light---up all the time when key in ignition is on position or engine is running. There no fade----off.

I loved your work "PokeyD16Z"

I have another idea but i need to connect the lights so when the door open the light will go on and when its closed the lights would go off...

If it worked out i would install my lights and post pix of it...
