Talking Howdy.

Well, where to begin... My new vehicle, later this week, is a 08 Civic LX coupe, silver, 5spd. I am getting this vehicle for 3 reasons. First, to save cash. By switching to this vehicle rather than my F-350 diesel 4x, I will save nearly $100 per month. This savings is over and above the cost for fueling and leasing and insurance. Who knew?
Second, I need a stick. My last 2 vehicles were automatics so my wife would drive them too. Well, she never has and I was stuck with the auto.
Lastly, Civics are fun to drive. This will be a nice change from my longbed, extended cab truck. Of course I am not getting rid of the truck, just allowing it to be the farm truck is has aspired to be. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/image...es/dancing.gif

Hey guys, first post here. Looks like an awesome site! Last weekend I got an 08 Civic LX Coupe Nighthawk Black Pearl. I am loving it so far!

In the near future I will add tint, probably limo tint the 3 rear windows and maybe light tint on the front 2. A place I talked to wanted $110 for the rear 3 is that a good price?

Any suggestions on rims?

Greetings all,

Just traded in my '07 Nissan Frontier for a pre-owned 2006 Si coupe w/ navi in taffeta white. Gas mileage on the truck was killing me so I had to trade it in for something more efficient. The Si is in almost perfect condition and best of all only had 9500 miles on it so it was hardly driven. I plan on keeping the car stock (need a reliable DD) with the exception of maybe some white EP3 type r wheels.

Ill post pics up eventually, just wanted to stop in and say hi.

Greetings 8th -

Got my 08 GG FA1 EX in December after some...ahem...gentlemen decided to steal my F-150 out of my driveway, but that's another story for another day.

This site is incredible. I owe a huge debt of gratitude (and rep) for a number of the DIY posts; the wealth of information here is almost overwhelming.

I'll start a new thread once I have pics with my current mods. In the meantime, here's a pic from the day I brought her home:
